The Joy of Gazing

This is the first Celestia picture I do, it is my first one only having her and while I'd wanted it to look a bit better, I'm already tired of detailing it, I want to move on from this damn piece to start another one. You sometimes can get tired of working on the same picture everyday, as I do one or two panels of a comic per day, if I work with one image for too long, I grow tired of it.

But overall I'm pretty satisfied with the result.
This image started as a draft in my notebook while I was in my philosophy class in the college, it also started as a joke, originally, Celestia would have a worried face and the position of her legs meant that she had to pee. Like, epic pose Celestia with a touch of ridiculousness. But I scraped the joke one and decided to leave the pose like that and give her a calm expression.


Done in Photoshop CS4 in about five hours.
