Description

This is an image that tries to imitate the art movement known as "Cubism", one of the most recognized painting styles in history. Some time ago, I couldn't know why people enjoyed this art form, I just found it ugly, and while I don't fully understand and/or appreciate it, I can tell that I like it as it is a form of art that allows you to see an object from various points of views in a 2D environment and also it shows that art does not necessarily imitates real life and regular ways of seeing the things.
Pablo Piccasso is often cited as the most influential artist in the Cubism movement and he maybe it IS the most important on and influential one but I personally prefer Jean Metzinger's work, it just mesmerizes me and blows my mind to see his works, this Derpy pseudo-painting is actually based on Jean's works, mainly on Tea Time and some of my own imagination. Of course, I can't compare mine to the masterpieces of the original Cubism painters and I feel that the piece is actually incomplete because it lacks some lightnings and the shadings used on Derpy are different than the background's ones.

Still, with those errors, I'd love to hear (or read) your opinion about it! Do you like it? Do you think it looks like actual cubism? What's missing and what could I add? Hit the comments with your opinion!
