Description

There's actually a "backstory" to this comic; long, long ago, I wanted to make a comic called "The Right Thing" in which I would make a lot of the situations of several episodes of MLP:FiM and then instead of them going nuts they would do the right thing and at the end a text would say "If they did the right thing, it wouldn't be as fun". But then the idea was scrapped for being too time consuming among other things and other projects I wanted to do and recently I retake the idea and this is the result; more or less the same but with another episode not considered before.

This concludes it. It will be the final image I post in this "Art Season" which is a personal event I do in which I draw during my vacations and post all of that during the semester of class. And I seem to have calculated it perfectly 'cause I happen to be just finishing the last class of this semester today.

Now to rest and eventually draw again...

I will take this to my grave:

No Second Prances was a complete, utter disaster in storytelling. I genuinely don’t understand how people like this episode.


Everyone acted like a complete idiot in this episode, especially Twilight with her hypocritical attitude. No one bothered actually talking things out with each other, which wasn’t until Trixie tried hurting herself. And Twilight never had the decency to apologize or own up to her controlling behavior throughout the plot. And it just gets WORSE throughout Seasons 7-9.


And it just shows the glaring problem with Starlight’s character in general: “I’m worried that the egotistical stage magician will be a bad influence to a MENTALLY UNHINGED CULT LEADER WHO ALMOST DESTROYED TIME ITSELF OVER A PETTY GRUDGE.” Honestly, Twilight kinda screwed herself over making Starlight her pupil without letting her face justice for her crimes, along with how the writers constantly butchered her character just to make Starlight look good by comparison 🙄
