"Demographics" or "Ah Lied!" or "2023"
Little comic I imagined, contrary as most of my comic, this didn't come in a epiphany, I crafted it in my head because of that "classic" situation in which a grown brony goes to a store to buy some pony toys and the cashier asks "It's for your little sister, isn't it?" and the brony responds positive to that because the toys are for him/her. So, in 2023 the year when MLP has it's 40th anniversary, will be the total opposite, little girls will buy ponies in secret!
So, will the ponies industry ever be like this, with little girls having to lie to buy ponies and with everybody thinking that the target demographic for ponies are us, the bronies? Nope, it'll never be like this, this is the real life, not Hollywood, it doesn't matter how much we will like the show or give money to Hasbro, they'll continue to try to entertain their original audience and give us just an occasional shout out. However, we don't have to forget that with all the things we do like interact in twitter and in conventions with the writers, animators, musicians, voice actresses, actors and/or directors, creating art, music, animations, crafts, having meetups, blogs, etc., with all of that, we have been able to make ourselves noticeable enough to have official toys based on our head-cannon, with all of that, we may not change the market in it's totality but we can at least change the vision of everybody about grown men buying pastel pony toys or watching the show based on them. Let's keep this fandom as awesome as we can!
