So, this comic is about the 21th December of 2012, not about the Apocalypse but about what everybody should do. I thought I was going to write a wall of text about the meaning of the comic but I'll let you enjoy it. This comic is one of my longest comics yet, surpassing "The Infinite Dream of Twilight Sparkle" but not longer than "I Remember" or "The Evolution of Aeris", but also, this comic is the most detailed one I have ever done and I think is my best comic overall; doing it was a kind of a pain in the ass because I done it in 40 hours of work approximately (Within 14 days), I changed the script so many times because it was too cheesy, flat or senseless, now I don't care if this comic recieve or not the attention I had expected, I'm only happy I finished it in time and now I can play FFVI. This is my final project of this year, not my final post, because I have other things to post but this is my final comic. (Yes, in the second last panel they speak with their mouths closed o_O.) Feel free to ask me any question you have or to write a Critique, I love them, see ya!
Absolutely beautiful. I love what you did with this! While I can't give it a five star on originality because the Twilight taking Celestia's job isn't truly original it IS original of the idea that this end times should be the end of our old lives of ignorance and hatefulness and a time of reform and revelations. The art style is great, the vision and impact is EXCELLENT, and it makes me want to write a short story on this moment at the castle.
I wish I looked at the idea of the world ending like this sooner. Your work as an artist is very well done! I'm sure this will happen eventually in the future of the show, because not even the immortal choose to live in a world like this forever.
This ushers in many new ideas for how to make 2013 amazing, starting with ourselves, and expanding to the people around us.
This isn't an apocalypse, it's an awakening. Thank You.
the future that she promises (no more evil to put it simply) would be a bitter-sweet victory and utterly pointless
sure, the world would be in absolute peace, but in order to have that there could be no free will. everyone would be FORCED into making the "right" decision.
and to top it all off, every action has the possibility to make some one else mad/ jealous/ spiteful/ etc., so the only way to make everyone happy,or at least at peace, everyone would have to look the same, act the same, and have absolutely no opinion what so ever.
to sum it up, you cant have good without evil. In fact, its the evil that some times brings out the best in people.
So i tell you this Celestia, they are looking at that sunset for the right reason, for it would be the end...
